Curiosity and the deep interest in technological innovation drove Franco Bercella, not even in his 30s, to buy the first square meters of carbon fiber and the first tins of epoxy resins. The idea was to test himself with an unknown technology, the aim was to build an ultra-light plane using only Composite Materials.
Bercella Srl was officially founded in 1996 with the initial know-how acquired in the previous two years, together with experiences and knowledge that tied inextricably the founder’s values to the company’s destiny.
The company moved its first steps in the Racing world, manufacturing components but most of all crash structures and monocoques. The same curiosity that had led to its foundation, drove Bercella towards other business sectors, such as Aviation, Space and Defense, that today represent our main application fields.
Nowadays, 25 years later, Bercella Srl is a multidisciplinary Company that transformed Composites and Carbon Fiber into its philosophy, in particularly with Prepreg and Autoclave technologies but also experimenting with complementary processes such as Filament Winding and compression moulding, vertically integrating painting and CNC Machining.
We are a one-stop-shop, where the client can feel himself at home by finding all the possible solutions under the same roof, getting rid of multiple suppliers and sub-suppliers. With the reliability offered by a solid and capable partner from the design phase to the production.
